Early beginnings the family club..
The club was established in 1976 and has a long and distinguished history with Victorian Soccer and Melbourne’s North West. Now part of the newly formed State 4 West league.
FC Strathmore is a club steeped in history and one that is well respected throughout the Australian soccer community with past players going on to play in the A League, National Soccer League, Europe and as high as representing Australia in world cup campaigns.
In addition to our rich and stable history, FC Strathmore, our club members, and our supporter base, is one of, if not the most, demographically attractive and sought-after supporter bases in State league 4 North soccer.
At present our club has over 60 Senior players, 20 Female players (NEW 2013), and the newly formed (Junior club 2013).
The goal of the club is to offer a safe and family orientated environment where we can congregate, and be involved with the local community and our clubs' long term passion – Soccer.
This builds on over 35 years of tradition that we hope to continue for generations to come, and with your support at club level it is an exciting time to come on board.
The introduction of both female and junior teams will see the club reach new heights.
